Birrieria La Paz: Reviews & Ratings
Great price! Abundant portions, tacos and quesatacos had plenty of meat. Each came with a side of consome, surprisingly flavorful. The mulita had crispy tortillas. Salsa was good, not very spicy but good flavor and not watery. Service is great, friendly and easy to order with!
I’ve been looking for good proper Mexican food since leaving Southern California a year ago. I finally found an amazing spot! Birrieria La Paz was amazing. We had a Burrito and Quesabirria and the were fresh, perfectly balanced, and some of the best Birria ever. I’ll be back!
First, the food is SO GOOD. This food truck is phenomenal and they pour every ounce of their hard work and love into their meals. I've had quesabirria tacos way too many times to count but these are the absolute best ones I've ever had. Absolutely 10/10. If you're nearby, grab a bite and their prices are REASONABLE. They could absolutely be charging more for how good this food is!!
One of the best in Greensboro. Super friendly service, fast but home-made, no bullshit, genuine good food. I had already eaten half before I remembered to leave a review haha The green sauce is delicious but it's my personal opinion that the sandwich pairs best with the consumé. Two birrierea sandwichs Two consumé Two Jarritos $25 even Can't beat it
A bit on the pricey side. Hours are difficult to pin down, definitely check their instagram before driving over. Location / convenience not reflected in the price. Without a DOUBT the best birria I’ve ever had, though.
My first time here today, and WOW! The food that comes out of this truck is utterly phenomenal. Not only because of their fresh, perfectly cooked ingredients. Not only because of their well balanced, flavorful toppings. There is another component to their food that's getting to be pretty hard, next to impossible to find. That component is LOVE. People who run this unassuming birrieria are clearly cooking with love. Love for the food, love for what they do, love for their customer. The unmistakable energy of quiet pride in their skill and tremendous care is what made my meal uniquely special and memorable. The premise of their existence is clearly visible and so profound. They feed you. They also nurture your soul. Thank you so much for the rare experience, for a glimpse of emotions long lost, and for the melt in your mouth, perfectly flavored food made with true love. EDIT 1 month later: I have now eaten here 7 times (call me addicted!) and would like to add their food is extremely, perfectly consistent from one visit to the next. They nailed their birria recipe and are able to replicate it time and time again. I see some reviewers complaining about prices, and while I agree you'll pay more here than at a sit-down taco restaurant, I'd like to offer my perspective on that. This food truck is stuck in a very inconvenient and sketchy location and is not terribly busy. They have to maximize profit from every ticket in order to make their small business viable. Yes, I feel the sting too every time I pay, but I also understand why the prices are what they are.
They are very welcoming here. I tried their food for the first time today, and it's absolutely delicious and fresh. I can't wait to bring my family by to try it. I got the quesabirrias and I'd say this might be my new #1 spot for them. Thank you!
If you see them out and about, you need to stop and get something. I don’t care if you just finished competing in an eating challenge and are so full that you can barely walk. This place is really good and you will be changed forever.

This food truck has quickly built a reputation for delivering some of the most genuine birria experiences outside of Southern California, a feat often lauded by locals and newcomers alike.
The true highlight here is the birria itself—tender, richly flavored, and perfectly balanced between spice and savor.
